The true mascot of True Fitness

About a month ago, I joined True Fitness (a gym) with hopes of shedding some considerable excess pounds. So far, I'm proud to say that I have lost some weight (not a lot, but it's something) and that I'm feeling a little better about myself. My stamina is still terrible, though - I get tired VERY easily, and my cardiovascular health is not all that good either. However, I do plan to stick with it and have even hired a personal trainer - a nice enough guy despite being a little difficult to understand. Anyway, one of the quirkiest things about the local branch of True Fitness is their 'mascot' of sorts - a ginger cat (not sure if it's a Tom or a Tabby as I haven't gotten a peek under its tail) with the most beautiful golden eyes I've seen on a cat. I haven't drawn animals in a while, and I've never drawn cats. But I tried it anyway.

Hopes and dreams

Earlier today I attended a seminar given by Ali Moslehi on how to make money on the Internet. It may be pretty obvious why - I'm hoping that, in time to come, I can earn a living off drawing and posting on this site. It would be a dream come true for me - having something you love to do as your job is one of the best things that could happen to anyone, which is why I admire people like PewDiePie and Smosh. Anyways, I attended this seminar with my father and a few of his friends from Iran, and I drew one of them when we went for tea afterwards. She liked the drawing so much that she not only asked for a copy, but said that she may commission me to do some drawings for her website, bestparent.net. :D

It's not over yet...

There was a thunderstorm at around three-something a couple of nights ago. The thunder woke me up from one of the strangest dreams I had ever had. I was watching the trailer for the indie horror movie 'Smiley' before I went to sleep. That night, I dreamed about what could have been the plot for a serial killer horror movie, about a serial killer based on an urban legend. I can only remember the ending - there were two potential victims (a guy and a girl) who decided that, should the serial killer come after one of them, they would work together and kill him. In the end they did kill him, but the guy loses his mind, kills the girl, and becomes a serial killer himself to 'carry on his legacy.' Just then, the thunder woke me up. Earlier today I tried drawing the guy. This is the result.

Helloes people!

Greetings and salutations to my fellow human beings inhabiting the wide landmass of the Earth!

Ok, nerdy greetings aside, welcome to my blog! This is a new and updated version of the A Day In My Shoes blog I created as a silly fifteen-year-old, and that I shall now manage as a (hopefully) less silly nineteen-year-old. This blog shall showcase the various drawings and stories I create whenever the creative itch gets me - usually when I'm bored or lazy to do my assignments. I hope you enjoy your time in my house of art and stories.

So... yeah. Brofist, and welcome! (Yes, you guessed it, I'm a PewDiePie fan. Problem?)
